Sugar Cookies

Cookies:
1 1/2 C White Sugar
3/4 C Butter
2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp Almond or Coconut Extract
2 Eggs
2 3/4 C Flour
1 Tsp Cream of Tartar
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
2-3 Tbsp Milk

Topping:
About 1 Tbsp Powdered Sugar on each cookie

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 deg. F
2. Cream Sugar and Butter together until fluffy
3. Add Vanilla and Eggs and beat on Medium
4. Whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add to mixture.
5. Add Milk as needed, mix on med to high until is cookie batter consistency
6. Dust hands with flour, roll cookies into rounded shape or balls, about 1 1/2 inches apart
7. Bake for 8 to 10 mins
8. Let cool for 5-10 mins
9. Using a spoon, sprinkle powdered sugar onto cookies, pressing gently with back of spoon so it will stick some.

Yields about 2 dozen
